Description of Satin Gloss Polish:
HG protective coating satin finish 1L is a unique and easy to apply tile finish polymer emulsion for all types of floor tiles, flagstone and slate. After drying, this liquid emulsion forms a shiny and wafer-thin, yet extremely protective coating.
Effect:
HG stain protector is suitable for both porous and non-porous ceramic tiles, natural stone floors and concrete and epoxy tiles containing natural stone, such as granite and marble composite. Protects against almost all watery (e.g. cola, wine, etc.) and oily spots and stains. Even the most porous surfaces are protected deep into the pores. Therefore, this tile stain protector is ideal for use in the living room, kitchen and bathroom. The tile protector can also be used outdoors. 1 litre is sufficient for approximately 100 m2 per layer.
Application:
For unglazed quarry tiles, floor tiles and slate.
Direction of use:
Prior to applying HG “ satin gloss polish” (HG “ golv polish” ) the floor should be thoroughly cleaned,preferably with HG “ cement grout film remover ”( HG “ remover ” ) to clean off grease, old layers of wax etc. After wet cleaning the floor should be left to dry thoroughly for 3 days. With floor heating 24 hours. Turn off your floor heating 12 hours before treatment. On porous surfaces such as slate, brick or flagstones first use HG “ impregnating sealer ”( HG “ impregnator ” ) . To avoid foam, do not stir or shake the bottle before use. The HG “ satin gloss polish”( HG “ golv polish” )
should be applied with a fluff-free cloth, e.g. a used tea cloth wrapped around a squeegee, or, on rough surfaces, use a velvet paint roller suitable for acrylic paint. Pour some HG “ satin gloss polish” ( HG “ golv polish” ) on the cloth and always spread the polish in one direction. Do not rub or buff . Once the HG” satin gloss polish” ( HG “ golv polish” ) has dried after approx. 40 mins. A second coat should be applied at right angles. Drives after 3 hour s ,but allow 3 day s
for the HG “ satin gloss polish” ( HG “ golv polish” ) To become fully water resistant.
- For ceramic tiles, clean first with HG tile power cleaner. For concrete and epoxy tiles containing natural stone, first clean with HG power cleaner.
- Apply HG stain protector liberally with a brush or roller.
- A second layer is recommended for very porous surfaces.
